May saw more 2021 demo bikes arriving including the Zero SR/F which headed down to feature in a Fully Charged Show episode, with tv presenters & motorcycle enthusiasts Charley Boorman and Andy Torbet. If you look closely you’ll see the SR/F!
If only for a fleeting visit, we were pleased to get the opportunity to check out these Italian beauties! After arriving from Italy, the 2021 Energica Eva Ribelle RS versions had an EEMC check over and charge up before they set out on the second stage of their journey – more to follow.

EEMC FEATURED IN MCN

 
With the growing interest in electric motorcycles MCN is increasingly showcasing them as an alternative to combustion bikes. We were happy to accommodate Saffron Wilson from Motorcycle News who looked aroundEEMC . We also answered her questions relating to the secondhand market – what to look for when buying a used electric motorcycle and ‘The Real Cost of Electric Bikes’. The articles featured in MCN’s May 27th issue.

THE ENERGICA CAN CERTAINLY GO PLACES!

EEMC customer Alex travelled 700 miles to Spain from Suffolk on his new Ribelle ‘3 days through heavy rain DC fast charging all the way down…The bike continues to impress through the trip. It’s been flawless through a litany of charges in all sort of places (some in pouring rain…Energicas definitely can go places… And reliability so far has been nothing short of perfect… So far I am extremely happy with the performance of the bike.’

June 12th/13th EEMC will be at the Dirt Track Riders Association (DTRA)
‘First ELECTRIC DIRT TRACK SERIES IN THE UK’ at Greenfield Dirttrack, Lincolnshire .

Another first for the EEMC team was to be invited to the Adventure Bike Rider (ABR)Festival June 25/26/27th – we’re offering free electric on-road & off- road demos
and taking part in their LIVE broadcast – so listen in!

Breakdown at the roadside
The appointed agent will provide roadside assistance throughout the UK, 24 hours a day, every day of the year if your bike is stranded on the highway as a result of a breakdown. The aim is to fix your bike, but if it
cannot be fixed at the roadside within a reasonable time, it will be taken to the nearest Dealer.
Home Start
Provides all the benefits of Breakdown Assistance at your bike’s registered address.
Recovery
If it is not possible to fix your bike at the roadside or arrange a prompt local repair, you and your bike can be transported to a UK mainland destination of your choice up to a maximum of 75 miles.

Inductive Insurance

Although electric motorcycles and scooter insurance is a relatively new, small but growing market we are glad to say that to insure any of our electric motorcycles will not cost any more than an equivalently priced and powered combustion models.

We’ve scouted high and low to find the best possible insurance for electric motorcycles and electric scooters and turns out the best guys in the electric insurance industry happened to be based just down the road from us!

New technology is not truly effective if the systems that back it are outdated. Along with our travelling demo days and pop up showrooms we are offering a comprehensive mobile servicing system for electric motorbikes, meaning less cost and downtime for you whilst the minimal service needs your electric motorcycle has are met. Service costings and frequency vary for each brand and model but a general service undertaken at our workshop can be as little as £60 ex VAT.
